Why I am doing this?

Well, to be honest, I have been wanting to do this blogging thing for a very long time. I started out on another website and, over the years, it became a real headache to use. Things changed way too much. Also, I can't blame the site completely as life got in the way, too. I started a family, worked full time... Those things are still true, but I am much older and able to manage time a lot better. I want to leave something out there for my kids to see and know that their dad did something that they can be proud of and that they can capitalize on later in life. Also, I want to prove to myself that I can make this work and share interesting and fun things with everyone around the world. So, if you have made it this far into reading what I have to say, know that I thank you for being here and giving me you support.
